For Grant Seekers

Through our grantmaking the Gifford Foundation aspires to develop communities and organizations by supporting and expanding their vision for the future, providing them with resources and tools to achieve their vision and insure their access and inclusion in discussions concerning the community. The Foundation funds agencies within our three county (Onondaga, Madison & Oswego) investment area. As you prepare to approach us with an idea we encourage you to learn more about our Community Grantmaking, “What If…” Mini Grants and previously awarded grants. The Foundation only invites proposals after meeting with organizations. If you are interested in applying please register with our online grants management system. Once registered, you may complete the Letter of Inquiry and you will be called by program staff.
