“What If…” Film Series, Fall 2015

Next up for the "What if..." Film Series in November - "The Homestretch." Learn More »

Coming soon to the “What if…” Film Series.

The “What If…” Film Series started in 2010 when the Foundation wanted to work with community members to envision new opportunities. The films celebrate how a group of people/organizations/civic entities might come together to address an issue of concern. Always free, always followed by a moderated discussion where we ask “what if we could do this here?”

The Homestretch

Wednesday, November 18 at 5:30 pm @ ArtRage Gallery,

Thursday, November 4 at 7:15 pm, SUNY Upstate Medical University.

The Homestretch follows three homeless teens as they fight to stay in school, graduate, and build a future. The film connects us deeply with larger issues of poverty, race, juvenile justice, immigration, foster care, and LGBTQ rights.Through haunting images, intimate scenes, and first-person narratives, these teens take us on their journeys of struggle and triumph.
